Women @ Venture
Helping Women Become Closer to Christ and to Each Other.
The Venture Women’s Ministry – or Women @ Venture – provides various opportunities for women of all ages to build relationships and grow in Christ as daughters, moms, wives, sisters, grandmothers, aunts and friends. We provide the time and place for women to connect, whether for a quarterly one-day event, a weekly small group, or a weekend retreat. Whatever the Women @ Venture group is up to, we are always focused on growing in Christ.
Gather at Venture to enjoy some fun activities, eat together, hear some teaching and discuss what we’ve learned in safe, comfortable small groups. Our events are typically an hour and a half beginning with large group teaching and breaking into discussion groups.
Retreats & Events
We know how hard it can be to get away but just how important it is to find rest and have fun! We will gather groups of women to attend weekend-long retreats with dynamic speakers and impactful activities. Our next event is the Venture Women’s Night In on April 28th – get more info!
We believe spiritual growth flows out of a commitment to God and the Bible and to significant Christian relationships. Life Groups help develop these relationships as women have real conversation about real issues. Spring Life Groups begin the week of May 14th!

Boundaries by Dr. Henry Cloud & Dr. John Townsend
Boundaries impact all areas of our lives: Physical boundaries help us determine who may touch us and under what circumstances — Mental boundaries give us the freedom to have our own thoughts and opinions — Emotional boundaries help us to deal with our own emotions and disengage from the harmful, manipulative emotions of others — Spiritual boundaries help us to distinguish God’s will from our own and give us renewed awe for our Creator — Often, Christians focus so much on being loving and unselfish that they forget their own limits and limitations.
Dr. Henry Cloud and Dr. John Townsend offer biblically-based answers to these and other tough questions, showing us how to set healthy boundaries with our parents, spouses, children, friends, co-workers, and even ourselves.

Love and Respect by Dr. Emerson Eggerichs
A Simple Message
A wife has one driving need—to feel loved. When that need is met, she is happy. A husband has one driving need—to feel respected. When that need is met, he is happy. When either of these needs isn’t met, things get crazy. Love and Respect reveals why spouses react negatively to each other, and how they can deal with such conflict quickly, easily, and biblically.
A Message That Works
Based on over three decades of counseling, as well as scientific and biblical research, Dr. Emerson Eggerichs and his wife, Sarah, have already taken the Love and Respect message across America and are changing the way couples talk to, think about, and treat each other. What do you want for your marriage? Want some peace? Want to feel close? Want to feel valued? Want to experience marriage the way God intended? Then why not try some Love and Respect.

Lysa TerKeurst admits that she, like most women, has had experiences where others bump into her happy and she comes emotionally unglued. We stuff, we explode, or we react somewhere in between. Filled with gut-honest personal examples and biblical teaching, Unglued will equip you to: Know with confidence how to resolve conflict in your important relationships.
