Care and Support Teams

Providing compassionate care for the community.

The local care & support ministry is aimed at caring for others in times of need. We strive to tackle issues of poverty, hunger and deterioration that exist in our church and in our local community. As acute needs come to our attention, our Care & Support Leaders collectively provide the love, care and resources needed to tackle minor and complex life situations.

One-to-One Care

Providing Christian Care to People Facing Life’s Challenges

This ministry is made of willing and trained individuals available to help men & women 18yrs and older who are going through challenging times. With one-to-one care there’s no problem too small. We help people with issues ranging from grief to divorce, serious illness to job loss, loneliness to disability to relocation and other life difficulties.

Volunteers with this ministry are trained through a program called Stephen Ministry. Discussions are confidential and completely free. Meetings may be weekly, or as often as necessary, for as long as necessary. Stephen Ministers are people you can trust. They are not counselors, pastors or therapists, but well-trained and compassionate people who are simply here to listen and help.

People that may not be able to foster or adopt can spend the second Saturday of every month playing with foster & adoptive children while their parents/guardians take this time to go do necessary work or go to training or just breathe. We will provide volunteers with free trauma training.
